Iron Fence Installation in North Texas
Residential ornamental iron fencing for homeowners who want open sightlines, strong curb appeal, and durable perimeter definition. New installations, replacement of aging or damaged sections, and gates — scoped clearly and installed to standard.
What we do
Residential Ornamental Iron Fencing
Iron fencing is a different solution from wood privacy. Where a wood fence gives you a solid wall of privacy, ornamental iron gives you a clean, open look that defines the property and adds curb appeal without blocking the view. We help homeowners choose the right approach for their yard, goals, and budget.
Residential Ornamental Iron
Ornamental iron fencing for homeowners who want a clean, durable look with open sightlines rather than a solid privacy wall.
Front-Yard Fencing
Iron works well in front yards where you want to define the property, keep kids and pets in, and still show off the home.
Perimeter Fencing
Iron perimeter fencing defines property lines with a more open, architectural feel than wood privacy fencing.
Decorative Iron Fencing
Decorative iron runs that add curb appeal and a finished look to entries, gardens, and accent areas.
Gates
Walk Gates & Double-Swing Gates
Gates are part of most iron fence projects. We match gate style to the fence and hang and brace them to keep working after months of everyday use.
Walk Gates. Single-person walk gates matched to the fence style, hung and aligned to keep working with everyday use.
Double-Swing Gates. Wider double-swing gates where access is needed for equipment, trailers, or larger yard equipment — built to stay aligned.
New or replacement
New Installation & Replacement
New iron fence installation
A new iron fence can define a front yard, enclose a perimeter, or frame an entry. We’ll walk through layout, height, gate placement, and style so the scope is decided before the crew arrives.
Matching & replacing existing sections
Damaged, aging, or missing iron sections can often be matched and replaced without redoing the entire fence. We’ll assess what’s there and tell you honestly what can be repaired versus what needs replacing.
Color & finish
Color & Finish Considerations
Most residential ornamental iron fencing is black, but color and finish affect both appearance and how the fence holds up to North Texas sun and weather. We’ll walk through the options available for your project so you can choose a look that fits your home and your maintenance expectations.
Finish performance depends on the product and conditions. We won’t promise a specific coating lifespan or warranty that isn’t documented for the product we’re installing. We’ll be straight with you about what to expect.
Permits & HOA
HOA Requirements & Permits
Many North Texas neighborhoods and HOAs have specific rules about fence material, height, color, and where iron fencing is allowed — particularly in front yards. In most cases, TrueSet is able to handle the permit and HOA approval process for you. Requirements vary by city and neighborhood, so we’ll confirm what applies to your project, including any required documents or fees, before installation.
Pricing
What Affects Iron Fence Pricing
We don’t publish fake or generic per-linear-foot prices. Iron fence pricing is driven by several factors, and your tailored quote reflects your actual scope.
- Total fence length and layout
- Fence height and style
- Number and type of gates (walk vs. double-swing)
- New installation vs. matching or replacing existing sections
- Color and finish selected
- Tear-out and haul-off of old fencing, if needed
- Ground conditions and access
- City permit and HOA requirements

Iron Fence and Gate Questions
What iron fence work does TrueSet offer?
TrueSet offers residential ornamental iron fence installation, replacement of suitable damaged or aging sections, and manual walk and double-swing gates. The layout, height, finish, and gate requirements are confirmed for the property.
Which iron fence heights can the online estimator price?
The estimator supports ballpark pricing for 4-foot and 5-foot flat-top iron fencing. A 6-foot iron fence requires custom review. An online result is a planning range, not a final proposal.
Does TrueSet install automatic driveway gates?
Automatic gates are not currently offered. Manual drive gates are reviewed and priced individually rather than receiving an automatic price from the calculator.
Can an existing iron fence section be matched?
Some damaged or missing sections can be replaced without rebuilding the entire fence. TrueSet needs to assess the existing style, condition, and available matching options before confirming the scope.
Will ornamental iron provide the same privacy as a wood fence?
No. Ornamental iron defines the property while keeping open sightlines. For a solid privacy barrier, compare the wood privacy options instead.
