Privacy questions?

Contact TrueSet Fence & Gate about your information or communication preferences.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

TrueSet Fence & Gate ("TrueSet," "we," "us," or "our") provides fencing and related services in North Texas. This policy describes information handled through truesetfence.com and communications connected to requests made through the website.

Other websites and services linked from our site, including financing providers and social platforms, have their own privacy notices. This policy does not replace those notices or any separate terms you receive when arranging a project.

2. Information you choose to provide

The information requested depends on the form or service you use. It can include:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, property address, city, ZIP code, and preferred way to communicate.
  • Project details: the service requested; fence length, height, material, style, condition, gates, removal needs, site access, ground conditions, desired timing, and notes you provide.
  • Estimate options: a no-visit estimate preference, selected project upgrades, and a community-discount category you choose to disclose. The selected category may reveal information such as military, first-responder, educator, ministry, or senior status.
  • Photos and documents: optional property photos and, for builder inquiries, plans, specifications, takeoffs, other uploaded documents, and filenames. Files can contain personal information or embedded metadata.
  • Builder and contractor inquiries: company name, contact-person details, project name and city, project needs, requested dates, notes, and supporting documents.
  • Promotion entries, when offered: contact details, property and fence information, project timing, responses to entry questions, and acceptance of applicable rules.
  • Communications: messages, estimate information, and correspondence associated with your request.

Only provide information you are authorized to share. Please avoid including people, license plates, confidential third-party material, government identification numbers, full payment-card details, bank details, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Our website estimate and contact forms do not ask for those financial or identification numbers.

3. Information collected when you visit

The website and its hosting, security, content-delivery, analytics, and advertising providers may receive technical information such as an IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring pages or campaign links, timestamps, and interactions with website features. Approximate location may be inferred from an IP address.

The site loads fonts and images from third-party servers. Your browser sends connection information to those servers to retrieve those resources. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies may also be used as described below.

4. How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, evaluate project requirements, and communicate about requested services.
  • Review photos or documents, confirm service-area availability, and coordinate follow-up, scheduling, and customer support.
  • Administer a promotion when one is offered, under its separate official rules.
  • Operate and troubleshoot the website, maintain request records, prevent misuse, and protect the business and visitors.
  • Understand how visitors use the site, measure advertising and inquiry activity, and improve website content and services.
  • Send relevant follow-up or promotional communications where permitted and subject to the choices and consent that apply.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations, maintain appropriate business records, and address disputes.

5. When information is shared

Information may be made available to the people and providers needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • TrueSet team members and service providers supporting inquiries, estimates, project administration, customer communications, and website maintenance.
  • Technology providers supplying hosting, security, and email delivery. Website forms are processed by a server-side function on Vercel and sent through Resend to the business inbox, including permitted attachments. This version does not save new submissions in a separate website lead database.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, including Google and Meta, that receive online identifiers and activity information through configured website tools. Their own notices describe their handling of that information.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, a valid legal request, security, or the protection of rights.
  • Other recipients when you request or authorize the disclosure, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards and law.

Information entered in an inquiry and files you upload are transmitted in email notifications and attachments. Business email systems and the delivery provider may retain messages and associated records. The recipient categories and purpose depend on the feature used.

Advertising-related disclosures may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" under some privacy laws, even when no money changes hands. This policy does not characterize every advertising disclosure as exempt from those definitions. See the choices and rights sections below.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The production website is configured to load Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel. Google Tag Manager can load analytics or advertising tags selected in the business account. Meta Pixel can report page visits and related website activity for advertising measurement. The information actually collected depends on the enabled tags, account settings, and available privacy controls.

Website events can indicate that a visitor opened the estimator, selected a service, started or completed a form, or followed a financing link. Advertising providers may associate website activity with online identifiers or their existing information to measure or personalize advertising.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser and use the privacy and advertising controls provided by Google and Meta. Blocking some technologies can affect website functions. Provider controls may apply only to a particular browser, device, account, or provider and do not necessarily stop all measurement or remove previously collected information.

You can also contact TrueSet to make a privacy or advertising opt-out request. An email or phone request does not itself change your browser settings. This policy is a disclosure, not a cookie-consent tool; it does not state that all tags are automatically blocked by Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

7. Email, calls, and text messages

When you request an estimate or contact us, we use the contact information and communication preferences you provide to respond and follow up about that request. Providing a phone number or submitting a request is not a blanket agreement to unrelated marketing. Any consent required for a particular communication must be obtained separately.

You can ask us to stop nonessential calls or texts by replying to our communication or contacting us using the details below. For promotional emails, use the unsubscribe instructions where provided or contact us directly. Please identify the phone number or email address the request concerns. Message and data rates may apply to texts, and frequency depends on your inquiry and any messaging program you choose.

A request to stop promotional messages does not prevent communications needed to handle a service you have requested or to meet a legal obligation. Communication preferences and advertising-cookie controls are separate.

8. Financing and other third-party services

Financing links, including links to Acorn Finance when displayed, take you to a separate provider. Information you submit directly to that provider is handled under its privacy notice and terms. Review those documents before submitting financial information.

Links to review platforms, social media, municipal resources, or other external sites are also subject to those operators' practices. TrueSet does not control their websites or privacy settings.

9. Retention and security

Information is retained for the purposes described here, including handling inquiries and projects, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record, the relationship with you, applicable obligations, and the systems involved; this policy does not promise a single fixed deletion period.

Information may remain in email systems, provider records, or backups after it is removed from an active application. Deletion requests are subject to applicable exceptions and the systems in which the information is held.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No website, email system, or storage service can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information through forms or ordinary email.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact us about your information or communication preferences. Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to confirm whether personal information is processed, access it, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, or opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects. Rights, exemptions, and exceptions depend on your circumstances and the applicable law.

Send a request to estimates@truesetfence.com or call (817) 381-6663. Describe the request and provide enough information to locate the relevant records. Do not send identity documents, passwords, or financial details in your initial request. We may need to verify your identity and, where applicable, an authorized agent's authority before responding.

We will handle requests within the periods required by applicable law. If a request is denied, you may ask us to reconsider by using the same contact methods and identifying the message as a "Privacy Appeal." We will explain the outcome and any additional steps required by applicable law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Texas residents can also contact the Texas Attorney General about consumer privacy concerns. This notice does not imply that every state privacy statute applies to TrueSet or that any right required by law is waived.

11. Children's information

The website is intended for adults seeking fencing services or submitting business inquiries, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact us so we can review and address it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, business practices, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will appear here with a revised date. Where additional notice or consent is required by law, we will provide it. Continued use of the website is not a substitute for consent when consent is required.

13. Contact TrueSet
